Apollonia on vocals, Antonis on guitar, and Nikos on drums. Three brothers, children of the renowned Cretan lute player Giorgis Xylouris (Psarogiorgis / Xylouris White) and grandchildren of Psarantonis. But don’t expect anything “folkloric” in the sound of Frenzee, a sound that cuts through all contemporary punk with sonic power on their stunning self-titled debut album of 2022. Deeply politicized in their lyrics, extremely dynamic live, with a sound that is simultaneously rough but also modern, they undoubtedly have a bright future ahead, as well as a fanatic, steadily growing audience.
