KYRIAKOS CHADJIMIHAILIDES
Born in Thessaloniki in 1963, he studied at the Evgenia Hadjikou Film Directing School and the G. Theodosiadis Drama School. Since his first short film in 1990, he has worked as a director, screenwriter, and producer, creating numerous films—mainly live-action shorts, but also documentaries, animations, and video art. His films have participated in and won awards at various festivals. In 2000, he founded the company t-shOrt, which focuses on the production and promotion of short films. He also created t-short.gr, a unique website dedicated to showcasing, informing about, and streaming nearly the entire Greek short film production. Photo Credit: Kyr. Kentrikis.
Inspired from the ancient greek myth of Daedalus and Ikarus, the film tells the story of a famous inventor and his son’s pursuit to buy his freedom through flight, and the fatal consequence of not following the instructions of his father.
