Peter Looles was born in 2004, in Athens. His parents were (and still are) both artists and from a very young age he developed an interest in arts, specifically in comics and cinema. Between the ages of 11-12 he self-published two comics, “The War of the Frames” and “The Weird Case of Miss Goat 2015”, with which he participated in comic festivals.
Based on the first of his comics, he made his first (of three) short animation films, which was screened at the Camera Zizanio Film Festival for Children and Young People. In 2021 he released his first live action short, “Zenith”, which was selected in multiple film festivals, winning two awards for best first time director and one honorable mention.
Peter has participated in multiple seminars on comics and documentaries and is currently studying cinema in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Besides that, he has been writing reviews for comics, films and books on Instagram for many years, on his account @art_fanatic_313
