Raining Pleasure, the most successful English-speaking band to emerge from the Greek music scene, returns to the Athens & Epidaurus Festival for a much-anticipated live performance. On Sunday, June 22, the iconic trio will take the stage at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus for a one-of-a-kind concert that promises to be both a nostalgic celebration and a powerful reminder of the band’s enduring appeal—both in Greece and beyond.
Originally from Patras, Raining Pleasure rose to prominence in the late ’90s and early 2000s, carving out a distinctive place in the country’s musical landscape with their signature blend of pop and indie/alternative rock. Their atmospheric sound, English lyrics, and melodic depth resonated with a generation of listeners and earned them a loyal following at home and abroad. Now, frontman Vassilikos, guitarist X-Jeremy, and drummer Jay reunite on one of the world’s most iconic stages to revisit the songs that made them a landmark name in Greek music.
The concert will feature a rich setlist drawn from their most beloved albums, supported by an expanded live band that includes Giorgos Triantafyllou and Porphyrios Tassis. Together, they’ll bring to life the lush arrangements and emotional energy that defined the Raining Pleasure sound.
This performance is more than just a reunion—it’s a celebration of timeless music in a setting of unmatched beauty and history. With the ancient Herodion as their backdrop and a devoted audience ready to welcome them back, Raining Pleasure is set to create a magical summer night in Athens.
