VASSILIS PANAGIOTAKOPOULOS
Since 1997, Vassilis Panagiotakopoulos has worked as 1st assistant director in several short and feature films (J.A.C.E by M. Karamagiolis, “The Palace” by Anthony Maras, ” and “The rape of the Sabbin women” by Eve Sussman, Luton by Michalis Konstantatos and more). He has also worked in as a 1st assistant director in TVC’s, in Greece and abroad. The same time he has also directed short documentaries and music video clips for the television and cinema festival screenings.
Since 2015 he is working at Onassis Cultural Center as a Line Producer, Producer and lately as a Head of Productions, in theatrical, music, dance, cinema and cross arts projects.
In the mountains of Crete, locals decide to bring an isolated village to life. With determined efforts, solidarity and self-organisation they transform an abandoned village into a model place to live, respecting traditional architecture and the environment. The locals and their stories will lead us into the revival of the village of Ethia.
