In the rehabilitation unit of an Athenian trauma hospital, victims of serious accidents struggle to walk again… or at least return to an autonomous existence. Divided between hope and acceptance, they offer us a glimpse into the depths of human condition.

MARCO GASTINE

Marco Gastine was born in Paris in 1952. Since 1978 he lives and works in Athens. After a brief career as an architect, he took up filmmaking as a director, screenwriter and producer. He directed about 20 documentaries or short films for cinema and Television. His work has mostly focused on cities and their people. His films have won many awards and nominations in Greece and abroad.
