SPOTLIGHT ON PEOPLE

Blue Morphee

Blue Morphee is the artistic alias of Athens/London-based multidisciplinary artist Eva Konstantinou. With a background in graphic design and painting studies in Kent, she blends her visual sensitivity with music, crafting an indie-pop sound shaped by atmospheric influences such as London Grammar, Tove Lo and Labrinth.

Her stage name plays on the blue morpho butterfly — known for its iridescent wings and symbolism of transformation — reflecting themes of growth, self-discovery and emotional renewal that run through her work.

In 2024, she released her first single via Mellosophy Records, marking a new chapter in her musical journey. The release introduced her delicate yet confident indie-pop craft, centered on the challenge of finding one’s true self. Since then, she has continued to expand her catalogue with introspective tracks that combine soft electronic textures, intimate vocals and thoughtful lyricism.

For Blue Morphee, creation is a transformative act. “Creating for me is healing, influencing, and transforming. I bring a piece of me into every melody,” she explains — a philosophy that defines both her sound and her broader artistic identity.
