The Panorama of European Cinema is Athens’ oldest film festival. Recent European productions are presented in an international competition. Prizes are awarded by the juries of The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), the Greek Film Critics Association (PEKK) and the Panorama’s directors’ committee, while the Audience Award is awarded by the Athinorama Magazine readers’ committee.
The section “World Cinema Premieres” includes recent movies that have participated in large international festivals. Tributes and Special Screenings are also programmed.
