The non-competitive Cinekinima Festival aspires to function as an institution of cultural intervention, presenting both contemporary independent productions and older, iconic independent films of Greek cinema that have played a decisive role in shaping the country’s cinematic identity. Particular emphasis is placed on the live participation of the creators, as Q&A sessions with the audience, fostering dialogue, film literacy, and the connection between cultural production and society.
