The festival that will take place in June 2024 is also under the Patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Greece and has the official support of The Greek Directors Guild and The Greek Film Archive. The Mediterranean Documentary Festival – “Mediterranean Dialogues” aims to unite Mediterranean countries culturally. The festival which has become biennial, is organized by the Organization for the Collective Management of the Rights of Film Producers “ERMIAS”, the Municipality of West Samos and the Faculty of Arts of the University of the Aegean. The 3rd Mediterranean Documentary Festival turns its lens (or gaze) to the Art of Theatre. The phenomenon of the timeless and transformative art of Theatre is “Illuminated” through the gaze of the art of Documentary film.
