Theophilus Palios owns a small traditional publishing house. He falls madly in love with Sia who a singer in a popular show who adds to her income by the “generosity” of her old fans.

He begins spending enormous amounts of money to satisfy her. He suffers economic collapse, as well as jealousy of her numerous admirers. He ends up entangled in a case of robbery and murder. Sia in an act of self-sacrifice becomes the mistress of the policeman investigating the crime, in order to save Theophilus. Thus, creating an odd triangle.
