REBECCA E. MARSHALL
Rebecca E. Marshall is a filmmaker with a passion for storytelling through tactile, poetic visuals drawn from the everyday, and a deep empathy for human strangeness.
Adept at collaborating with creative teams, she brings projects to life with imagination and innovation. She makes the unconventional feel accessible.
Her company, Dear Future Films, was created to explore new ways of thinking into the future through filmmaking and film-poetry. Dear Future collaborates with musicians, artists, filmmakers, educators, scientists, writers and poets.Rebecca holds a PhD in film by practice, developing methods for honing attention through filmmaking. She is a visiting lecturer at The London Film School. Her workshops facilitate creative thinking through the practice of film. Rebecca co-founded The Electric Palace Cinema in Hastings, UK, curating this special independent space for filmmakers and film-lovers for over twenty years, stepping down in 2023.
The European Chamber Orchestra was created in 1981 and aims at giving unique opportunities and experiences to the young musicians who participate and are in the early stages of their careers. The Orchestra organizes 50-60 concerts every year.
