EFFIE PAPPA

Effie Pappa is an award-winning director and animator based in Athens and London, born in 1986. She specializes in stop motion, 2D animation, and her work often explores universal themes through allegory and absurdism. Recently, she released a short film titled “IN BETWEEN” and directed a series for Mailchimp called “All in a Day’s Work”. Her work is characterized by joyous illustrations and a focus on human concerns.

Three characters are caught in a frenetic everyday loop in pursuit of time. Never finding the right moment to eat, cross the street, or go to the toilet. Until time suddenly freezes.
