NICOS SYNNOS

Nicos Synnos is an animator and filmmaker.

He has worked for several years on animation productions in the U.S., U.K., and Cyprus. He founded the animation studio toonachunks in Limassol, where he produced animations, short experimental films, and videos.

Since 2001, Synnos has been teaching animation and photography in higher education in Cyprus. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology and the coordinator of the Lab for Animation Research, which explores the artistic possibilities of animation.

 

Television violence leads to a cruel game inside “Dog’s” house. Ironically, at the same time, “Dog” tries helplessly to find solution to his insomnia through religious TV programming.
