Nassos Vakalis was born and raised in Athens and studied animation at CALARTS in the USA. He has workedwith the biggest movie studios in Hollywood (DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Disney, Paramount, Netflix, Illumination, Rovio, Sullivan-Bluth, etc.). In 2006 with the animated series “Off Mikes”, he was awarded the EMMY prize. In 2007-2008 he wrote and directed 130 animation episodes for the series “Crime Time ” which reached 25 million online visits. In Greece he worked in the Time-Lapse Pictures company, of which he was the founder and co-owner, performing productions abroad and ERT. Today, he lives in Los Angeles where he continues to collaborate with Hollywood studios while also producing and directing independent animation productions. His latest film “DINNER FOR FEW” has won 80 awards at international festivals.
