A Generational Anthem by SERGIAN

Serafeim Giannakopoulos – drummer and founding member of the globally acclaimed Greek band Planet of Zeus – steps into a new artistic chapter with his first Greek-language solo release under the name Sergian. His debut single, “E.O.T (Hello Greece),” emerges as an anthem for dreamers across four generations.

Through a narrative lens, the song connects Generation X, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha, revealing a shared emotional thread despite their differences. It reflects on a collective experience of growing up, struggling, and enduring within what is described as the most beautiful “swamp” in the world—a metaphor for Greece itself.

Echoing the sentiment of Trypes, who sang about “new defeats and new crushes” three decades ago, Sergian’s message reinforces this continuity across time.

“E.O.T (Hello Greece)” is the first release from Sergian’s upcoming 10-track album, set to be released soon via Minos EMI, a Universal Music Group label.
