EFFIE PAPPA
Effie Pappa is an award-winning director and animator based in Athens and London, born in 1986. She specializes in stop motion, 2D animation, and her work often explores universal themes through allegory and absurdism. Recently, she released a short film titled “IN BETWEEN” and directed a series for Mailchimp called “All in a Day’s Work”. Her work is characterized by joyous illustrations and a focus on human concerns.
Little Sofía loves her grumpy granny: even though she is always hungry and eats what little food they can buy. Her pension is the only thing keeping her and her father alive. To what extremes will they go to once granny is no more.
