Nancy Spetsioti was born in Larissa in 1981. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts’ Film Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has directed live action short films and documentaries which have been screened at festivals, in cinemas and have won awards. She has also directed the theatrical play “Marriage” by Nikolai Gogol, for the Experimental stage of the “Thessalian theatτe”. She has written plays, and screenplays for short and feature films and television series. In 2008 she won the 3rd national award for theatrical play. Her plays have been presented as theatrical analogies and complete performances by the National Theater of Greece, by Municipal theater of Serres, by Fournos Theatre and the Sofouli Theatre. She is a member of the International Theater Institute and of the Greek Directors Guild.
