REVIEWS
A descent into Hades illustrated allegorically through the journey of a lawyer to Epirus where he looks for a woman who has been missing for more than 20 years. The result is a visually charming cinematic wander in which the natural beauties of Epirus which is the real protagonist in a somewhat complicated story, collide with the inner darkness of all heroes.
The lawyer (Georgos Morogiannis) wanders around like a zombie, haunted by his own personal impasses. At the same time the film lyrically, but not always successfully, tries to touch the issue of Albanian immigration to Greece, which at the time of the making of the film, was very timely.
