A Success Story in Greek Entrepreneurship
Violanta was recognized as a Greek Business Champion at the “Leaders of the Greek Economy” awards, confirming its dynamic presence in Greek entrepreneurship. The company, with roots in a neighborhood bakery in Trikala, began its journey with the production of quality baked goods and bread, quickly expanding into pastry making. Its goal is to create quality and traditional flavors in cookies and biscuits, inspired by beloved recipes passed down from our grandmothers.
The history of Violanta began in 1975 with a neighborhood bakery in Trikala, where the production of quality baked goods and bread combined with the passion of owner Modestos Tsinas and the talent of his team in pastry making. His son-in-law, Konstantinos Dziortziotis, transformed all of this into a business venture with a singular goal: to create and produce quality, original, and traditional flavors in cookies and biscuits, based on traditional recipes.
Today, Violanta offers over 200 products, combining originality and high quality, with production capabilities that meet the demands of both the domestic and international markets. The company’s commitment to long-term partnerships with consumers, clients, employees, and suppliers reflects its philosophy, which is based on trust and professionalism.
Violanta’s dynamic presence in the international market and the increasing demand for its products rank it among the country’s most export-oriented businesses, promoting Greek entrepreneurship and showcasing the excellence of Greek production.
